Welcome on board HMS Huzzah!
Join Martin the Musical Matelot as you journey back in time to the Battle of Trafalgar with many a laugh and sea shanty along the way. Audience members will be welcomed and immersed in the Georgian Royal Navy with an in-costume performance, a taste of life at sea and some of the most well-known and much-loved sea shanties.
The format of the shanty show can be altered depending on your event. A roaming performance for large heritage sites, a short performance for festivals, a long performance for gigs and even a show and quiz for mess dinners and weddings.
Martin The Musical Matelot has had the delight of performing shanty shows
at Gilbert White's House, National Museum of the Royal Navy, Hampshire Cultural Trust, Thorny Island Sailing Club, Emsworth Cruising Association, Weald and Downland Museum, The Golden Eagle, Southsea, Ministry of Defence and more.
